How a Living Lab B2B matchmaking event works

This online matchmaking event offers you the unique opportunity to pitch your innovative technologies ans solutions in 1:1 meetings during the online matchmaking sessions with both suppliers and buyers, within the area of energy and resources. In addition to this, you have a chance to be selected for a closed meeting with the two main challenge owner groups, comprised of representatives and experts from the three challenge-regions; North, Central and Southern Denmark.

To make sure you get the most out of your participation, there are a couple of things you should take into consideration during the registration process:

  • If you are an innovative company who would like to offer it's solutions to one of the challenge owners, be sure to register yourself as a 'Solution Provider'. This will provide you the possibility to engage in 1:1 meetings with the challenge owners before the online event (textual questions), and possibly be selected for a meeting with the challenge owners.
  • If you are not selected for a 1:1 meeting with the challenge owners, don't worry, you will still have ample opportunities to meet with other potential business partners and buyers, during the matchmaking sessions. This is an efficient, and easy way, to meet with other participants in closed, pre-arranged meetings at your own request.

Registering and booking meetings

1. Register - Until the 9th of September

Register via the green button on the right side at the webiste, if you want to offer your solutions to the challenge owners, make sure to register as solution provider.

After registering to the event, there will be regular e-mail updates explaining what you need to do next. If you don't receive e-mails, you might need to check your SPAM filter.

                  2. Setting up a profile

Create a strong profile will raise your visibility to others on this platform. Therefore, be clear and concise when stating your areas of interest. Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer the challenge owners - or potential business partners - and who you want to meet in the sessions.

(FYI: You can log in using your LinkedIn profile, easily adding relevant information to your B2Match profile!)

Creating a good profile will significantly generate more meetings. Don't forget that your profile will be live and visible even after the event. Setting up your profile does not take more than 10 min. You will - of course - be able to control, yourself, who to actually meet with, either by sending your own meeting requests or approving/dismissing incoming requests.

Having at least one Marketplace opportunity in your profile is required to participate. The organisers will reserve the right to exclude anyone from participation when not complying to either this requirement or not having a relevant profile for the event.

                  3. Request meetings | 22nd of August  - 22nd of September 2020

Be active, not reactive. Browse published participants profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet up with. Adding a meaningful remark, why you are interested in a meeting, will increase the chance that your request will be accepted. Accepted meeting requests will be scheduled automatically.

Booking rules: Only the Living Lab challenge owner groups can select which solution providers they will meet with. These will be selected after a screening process. The meetings between the challenge owners and solution providers will be scheduled by and on behalf of the challenge owners through the organisers. This means meetings might be accepted on behalf of the solution providers by the organisers.

Solution providers can also request meetings with participants. Meeting requests needs to be accepted by the recipients, otherwise they can not be scheduled.

All meetings at the B2B Matchmaking Event has a (maximum) duration of 20 min. This also applies for the meetings with challenge owner groups, representing the main challenges in Energy & Resources.

                  4. Build connections | 24th of September 2020 - 13:00-15:30 (CET)

About 1-2 days before the event you will receive an email with your personal, detailed, meeting schedule.
